Today I encounter Virus Problem in my test server (My youger brother used it & now windows 2003 infected with wirus named altcmd)
altcmd.dll Program Files\altcmd
altcmd is trojan mcafee is unble to detect it (I m not sure becuase Mcafee is also not working fine)
Mcafee shows that its scanner is on but its not on when i refresh it so i think may be it can detect but cant say.
however its work is to disable antivirus etc & hide the access of control panel & mycomputer properties & GPO & Domain & local Secuirty policies .
It also diable to change the properties of services like change start manual/auto & use account etc.
after removing it Domain & local Secuirty policies are restored but i m unable to access control panel etc it give message access denied For Saying That I logged from remote computer .
Even Mcafee Console Also Give same type of error that i m not logged as console user.
After deleing altcmd I browsed to gpedit.msc > user configuration > administrative templates > control panel
All Things are not configured so i disabled them & i m again able to access mycomputer properties & control panel etc .
