Running OM-HCP In Windows 2008 64 Bit

Hello Friends

Today I tested Control panel In windows 2008 64 Bit

It Throws a error that Or just show a blank page if ASP ->send error to browser is not True

ADODB.Connection error '800a0e7a'
Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.

This Is due to Application pool running in 64 bit.

You need to set Apppool To Run on 32 Bit

Go To IIS Select -> Om_pool -> Advanced Settings->Genral - > Enable 32 Bit Appalications Set it true.

Enjoy

I am finding it difficult to install on a 2003 R2 server. are instructions available?

I like the project. Parallels is buying control panel companies and not leaving much choice. It is important that this industry has an open source control panel for windows or we will be at Parallels mercy.

I will be happy to provide server space for you to develop on. It's not much but I know every bit counts. Is the project still alive?

With Parallels buying up control panels for windows, there is not much left. It is critical that a *good* open source alternative exists or we will find ourselves in a position of what Parallels says goes. From my experience, that is not a good place to be.

I can offer you virtual server hosting space to develop the software.

there are all kinds of great open source pieces you can use. hmail server for mail, maybe claros for webmail? whichever...point is, there is no reason why windows should not have an open source control panel, except of course for the fact that Parallels is strongly resisting it.

I really hope you succeed in making an even better CP than Plesk.
